Privacy Policy
Short version
We collect as little as possible. There's no account on this site, no newsletter sign-up and no cookie banner, because we don't set advertising or tracking cookies. The heavy lifting, including your conversations and payments, happens on partner platforms, and their privacy policies govern that data.
What we collect
Analytics. We use a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool. It records page views and basic technical data such as the page you visited, the referring site, your browser type and your country, derived from your IP address. The IP address is not stored in full. We use this to see which pages people actually read, nothing more.
Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. These are kept for a short period and then deleted.
Email. If you write to [email protected], we keep your message and your email address so we can reply and follow up on corrections. We don't add you to a mailing list.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent data.
- We don't run advertising networks or third-party tracking pixels.
- We don't ask for your name, address or payment details.
Partner links
When you click a button on this site, you leave BrindaJoo and land on a partner platform. That platform may set its own cookies, collect your data and require an account. Its privacy policy applies from that point on, not ours. We encourage you to read it before you sign up, especially the sections on conversation storage and data retention. Some links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you sign up; that arrangement doesn't change what data the partner collects.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. In practice, the data we hold is limited to analytics records and any email you've sent us.
To exercise a right, email [email protected] with a clear description of your request. We'll respond within a reasonable period, usually within 30 days. If you believe we've handled your data badly, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has sent us data, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date on this page. Substantial changes will be noted in plain language.
